Dallas-based CTL Medical entered a General Services Administration partnership with Firehouse Medical.

Here are three key points:

1. Under the GSA partnership, CTL Medical will sell its spinal implants and devices to the U.S. government.

2. GSA contracts enable commercial suppliers to create long-term, government-wide contracts, selling their products at a volume discount price.

3. Firehouse Medical distributes medical supplies and training simulators. The company currently has three GSA contracts, a Defensive Logistics Agency Med/Surgical contract and a Distribution and Pricing Agreement with the DLA.

"Partnering with Firehouse Medical Inc. was a no brainer for us. Their extensive experience working with the U.S. government is something we value, and we are thrilled to provide our products to a new customer base," said Daniel Chon, president and CEO, CTL Medical.
