The FDA cleared the two-level components for Intelligent Implant Systems' Revolution Spinal System for sale in the United States.

Here are five points:

1. The components allow the Revolution system to be used for two-level posterior thoraco-lumbar fusions.

2. The system is currently used at both hospitals and ASCs for one-level fusions.

3. The system includes a single tray of all-sterile instruments and the Revolution Connectors for one-or two-level procedures.

4. The new two-level system requires only a minimum of additional components.

5. Intelligent Implant Systems develops and markets surgical solutions for orthopedics and spine.
