Spinal Simplicity, based in Overland Park, Kan., has closed a financing round with an investment from Nueterra Capital.
Here are five notes:
1. Spinal Simplicity sought an investment partner after introducing their Minuteman fusion device for lower back pain in Europe and securing FDA 510(k) clearance for the same device in the United States.
2. As a result of Nueterra Capital's investment, Spinal Simplicity will gain access to NueHealth and its nationwide system of clinically integrated provider networks.
3. The Minuteman device is available in five different sizes, is pre-packaged and will be offered with hydroxyapatite coating to facilitate the fusion process.
4. Procedures using the Minuteman device are currently being performed in the United States and Europe.
5. Spinal Simplicity is a medical device company that develops solutions to treat complex surgical problems.
