More than 1,100 surgeons have used San Jose, Calif.-based SI-BONE's iFuse Implant System in more than 20,000 procedures globally since 2009.

1. Medicare, Medicaid, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, Geisinger, Kaiser Permanente and United Healthcare cover the procedure.
2. Clinical evidence in 40 peer-reviewed publications supports iFuse technology.
3. iFuse is the only available SI joint fusion device in the United States backed by evidence illustrating safety, effectiveness and economic benefits.
4. An Australian surgeon performed the country's first iFuse procedure on May 3.
5. Surgeons in Israel, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia also performed the countries' first iFuse procedures in early 2016.
6. iFuse technology is now available in 25 countries.
