Medtech adds to its US executive team — 5 facts

Medtech, a Montpellier, France-based surgical robotic company, named Teresa Prego its marketing director.

Here are five facts:


1. Medtech hopes to strengthen its U.S. presence with Ms. Prego's appointment.


2. Ms. Prego will advance the company's marketing policy, focusing on the commercial launch of the ROSA Spine robot.


3. The ROSA Spine recently earned 510K clearance from the FDA.


4. With more than 20 years of strategic marketing medical experience, Ms. Prego previously served as the marketing director at Tenet Healthcare.


5. "Her appointment will contribute to driving adoption of our technology in various markets, including the launch of ROSA Spine in the U.S.," said Bertin Nahum, CEO and founder, Medtech.
