SeaSpine appointed Patrick Keran to general counsel.
Here are five key notes:
1. Mr. Keran will join the company's senior leadership team and report directly to President and CEO Keith Valentine.
2. The position is newly-created and Mr. Keran took his post on Oct. 12.
3. He has more than 15 years of legal and operational experience, primarily with respect to capital raising, corporate governance and FDA-regulated entities.
4. Mr. Keran served in senior positions at Mass Therapeutics, ending his time there as president and COO where he oversaw multiple acquisitions and raised around $250 million.
5. SeaSpine is focusing on designing, developing and commercializing surgical solutions for spinal disorders.
