Safe Orthopaedics has released its Auto-Adjust pedicle screw designed to repair thoracic and lumbar spine fractures.

Here are four quick facts:

1. The Auto-Adjust product is a multi-axial screw that helps position the rods but operates like a fixed-head screw to realign the spine.

2. This implant aims to simplify surgical repair of vertebral fractures and facilitate the restoration of sagittal balance.

3. To date, eight surgeries using the screw have been performed in France and the Netherlands.

4. Safe Orthopaedics focuses on developing and marketing a range of sterile implants and associated single-use surgical instruments for spine surgery.
