Plano-based Texas Back Institute has performed the first surgery using Safe Orthopaedics' products in the United States.

Here are four key notes:


1. The surgery was performed by Richard Guyer, MD. He was assisted by Jack Zigler, MD.


2. The procedure performed was a minimally invasive lumbar fusion using Safe Orthopaedics' single-use instruments.
