Aurora Spine announced the first surgical implant of its ZIP ULTRA minimally invasive interspinous device in Switzerland was a success.
The surgery was performed at the Clinique Générale-Beaulieu in Geneva by Prof. Aymen Ramadan. The implant intended for spinal fusion consists of the ONE-STEP locking mechanism, which eliminates the use of a set screw, articulating spikes and various sizes.
