Integra LifeSciences releases reinforcement matrix for tendon injuries

Integra LifeSciences released the Integra Reinforcement Matrix.

The biological implant is composed of porcine dermis that may be used for any type of tendon injury that requires surgical reconstruction. It has high tensile strength that provides durable reinforcement during the healing of a repaired tendon.

 

The matrix has 510(k) clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
