Spinal Tech

ApiFix received CE Mark for its adolescent idiopathic scoliosis treatment system, and have seen positive results from the pilot clinical trial. The ApiFix AIS system is designed to produce a shorter, simpler surgery for scoliosis correction and includes a small implant in the main spinal curvature using two screws, according to the release.

The company's pilot clinical study took place in Europe, and results after three months showed the patients had maintained spinal flexibility. The CE Mark will allow ApiFix to market its device in Europe.
