Mark Bowen, MD, an orthopedic surgeon with NorthShore University Health System in Chicago performed the 1,000th procedure using the CoLS technique for knee ligament repair. The CoLS technique is a FH Orthopedics advancement where surgeons harvest only one hamstring tendon which is quadrupled to produce the graft. The technique allows for almost immediate post surgical weight bearing without braces or crutches.
Dr. Bowen has performed more than 300 cases using this procedure and taught several surgeons in America his technique.
