1K+ cases performed with OMNIBotics' ligament balance system: 3 notes

More than 1,000 procedures have been performed with OMNIlife science's OMNIBotics Robotic Active Spacer.

Here are three things to know:

1. The Active Spacer technology uses a miniature robot designed to balance ligaments after knee replacement surgery.

2. Balancing often involves making small incisions in tighter ligaments to create equal ligament tension. The Active Spacer technology is intended to help surgeons position implants in anatomic alignment while maintaining ligament balance without ligament incision.

3. The technology is the first and only robotic system to combine ligament tension with bone alignment.
