The Orthobiologics Research Initiative recently earned a grant from the Maryland Stem Cell Research Fund, according to an Oct. 25 news release from Regenerative Orthopedics.
ROSM will conduct a two-year trial concluding in 2026 that explores the efficacy of microfat stem cells in treating rotator cuff injuries. The research will focus on noninvasive solutions and could reduce the need for surgical intervention in rotator cuff injuries, the release said.
