Orthobiologics company gets patent for soft tissue repair

Ortho Regenerative Technologies received a patent related to its Ortho-R soft tissue repair platform.

The patent lasts until 2035 and provides broad protection for the composition and the method of use for Ortho-R, according to a May 4 news release. 

“This US patent is a critical step in protecting our technology platform in the world’s largest orthopedic soft tissue repair market and provides further validation of our novel and unique approach to soft tissue repair regenerative technologies,” CEO Philippe Deschamps said in the release. “This important patent is added to our growing intellectual property portfolio and the nine other patents already issued in major markets around the world.”
