Miach Orthopaedics named Jamal Rushdy as its new CEO, according to a May 11 news release.
Mr. Rushdy replaces Patrick McBrayer following a planned leadership transition in partnership with the board of directors. Mr. Rushdy has nearly 30 years of experience in the medical device industry and previously held CEO roles with Arcuro Medical and Collagen Solutions.
“Miach has built strong momentum with differentiated technology and compelling clinical evidence behind the BEAR Implant,” Mr. Rushdy said in the release. “he opportunity now is to expand use and advance new indications, with the goal of helping people with ACL tears return to an active lifestyle while preserving long-term knee health.
