Westminster, Colo.-based orthobiologics company Cerapedics has appointed Valeska Schroeder as its new CEO, effective Nov. 1.
Ms. Schroeder has served on the company's board of directors, and she succeeds Glen Kashuba, who will continue to serve as an adviser to the company.
Ms. Schroeder has served as KCK Medtech's managing director since 2016 and has held senior roles at other medical technology companies.
"I am excited to lead Cerapedics as we advance through the next phase of the company," Ms. Schroeder said in an Oct. 10 press release. "We look forward to delivering improved bone repair outcomes for patients, doctors and payers with our innovative P-15 peptide technology that has demonstrated strong clinical performance in a randomized controlled study, and has demonstrated cost-effectiveness in cervical fusion."
