Spine Wave launches GraftMag Graft Delivery System: 4 things you need to know

Biologics

Shelton, Conn.-based Spine Wave launched the GraftMag Graft Delivery System.

Here are four things you need to know:

1. The GraftMag Graft Delivery System is designed to safely and rapidly deliver large amounts of bone graft. The system can make the graft delivery process more efficient in thoracolumbar spinal fusion surgeries and may reduce the risk of patient injury due to fewer instrument passes by sensitive anatomy.

2. The system is composed of two five cubic centimeter single-use graft magazines loaded with bone graft on the back table.

3. The magazines and the system's specially designed funnels rapidly deliver large amounts of graft in one cubic centimeter increments. This approach can reduce funnel jams and requires only one instrument pass into the graft site to complete the procedure.

4. The GraftMag Graft Delivery System can be used in almost any thoracolumbar spine fusion procedure and with any interbody device, particularly Spine Wave's Leva Interbody Devices, which uniquely accommodate large amounts of bone graft.
