Biologic medtech company names new CEO

NovaBone, a biologic medtech company focused on orthopedic and dental products, hired Brian Carlisle as CEO.

Mr. Carlisle has more than 17 years of experience in the medical device industry, according to a July 22 news release. He previously worked with Integra LifeSciences and Perma Pure. He also held a position on NovaBone’s board of directors for 10 months.

NovaBone is based in Alachua, Fla., and is behind the first orthopedic bioactive synthetic bone graft, according to the company.
