VersaWrap is primarily applied by plastic, orthopedic, hand, foot and ankle, and spine surgeons, according to a Nov. 21 press release.
The product is an ultrathin, sutureless, bioresorbable hydrogel implant that forms a gelatinous layer around target tissues. It facilitates gliding during healing, reducing postoperative tethering.
“In patients where I’ve applied VersaWrap, they report less pain, greater mobility, and a quicker return to normal routines,” Anthony Echo, MD, plastic surgeon at Houston (Texas) Methodist, said in the release.
At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
