RTI Surgical to acquire biologic company

RTI Surgical, a healthcare biologics company, plans to acquire Collagen Solutions, according to an Oct. 7 news release.

Collagen Solutions is a global supplier of collagen and xenograft tissue for orthopedics, sports medicine and cardiology. The acquisition expands RTI’s soft tissue portfolio and the potential to accelerate products.

Earlier in 2024, RTI Surgical also acquired Cook Biotech.
