One case was done by Frank Phillips, MD, at Chicago-based Rush University Medical Center, and the other was done by Jack Zigler, MD, of Plano-based Texas Back Institute, according to an April 6 news release.
The fiber bag is an allograft alternative made from demineralized cortical bone fibers.
