WebMD and Medscape partnered to name the 65 best hospitals for orthopedic care in 2023 based on survey data from thousands of patients and providers. 

Value-based care system Commons Clinic, which focuses on spine, orthopedic and pain management care, has raised $19.5 million in series A funding, bringing its total funding to $33.5 million. 

While payer coverage in the orthopedic and spine industry is still considered spotty by surgeons, some procedures have made strides in 2023. Since the beginning of the year, five new procedures have secured coverage from major payers.
