Brian Hoeflinger, MD, and David Lewis, MD, are joining Mercy Health — The Neuroscience Institute, St. Luke's in Maumee, Ohio, according to a July 2 report by the Norwalk Reflector.

New York City-based Columbia University named David Trofa, MD, as the next head physician for the Lions — the school's collective athletic teams. 

Neal ElAttrache, MD, is set to perform an elbow procedure on Dustin May, a pitcher for MLB's Los Angeles Dodgers, on July 18 in Los Angeles. 

Evanston, Ill.-based NorthShore University HealthSystem and MLS team Chicago Fire FC partnered up, making NorthShore the team's official health system, sports medicine and orthopedics provider. 

Gillette, Wyo.-based Powder Surgery Center is the first surgery center in the state to utilize the Rosa Knee robotic surgery assistant, according to a June 24 report by the Gillette News Record.
