Methodist University Names Dr. William Schaefer to Board of Trustees

Methodist University in Fayetteville, N.C., has named William Schaefer, MD, to its board of directors.

Dr. Schaefer is the president of Fayetteville Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine, where he has practiced since 2001. He has been honored as a 2012 Distinguished Graduated from Fayetteville Academy and served with the US Army Reserve in Iraq.

Dr. Schaefer earned his medical degree from Wake Forest University School of Medicine.
