Dr. Marc Philippon Performs Hip Surgery on Swimmer John Coughlin

Marc Philippon, MD, a surgeon with The Steadman Clinic in Vail, Colo., recently performed hip surgery on national championship swimmer John Coughlin, according to an NBC Sports report.

Dr. Philippon performed surgery to repair a torn labrum in Mr. Coughlin’s left hip. Following the procedure, he will complete rehabilitation at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs.
