NASS Members Discuss Health Policy Agendas With Rep. Michael Burgess

North American Spine Society members attended a telephone town hall meeting with Rep. Michael Burgess, MD (R-Texas), to discuss healthcare policies, according to SpineLine.

The former obstetrician and gynecologist now serves on the House Energy and Commerce Committee and is vice chairman of the Subcommittee on Health. He also founded and serves as the chairman of the Congressional Health Care Caucus.

During the town hall, members also discussed the current “fiscal cliff” and negotiations with the President and Congress.
