Dr. Staats, an anesthesiologist and interventional pain specialist, is known for developing and implementing minimally invasive procedures to treat pain disorders. He is the co-founder of Premier Pain Centers in New Jersey and the founder of the division of pain medicine at Johns Hopkins University, where he served as its director for 10 years.
He received his medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School and completed his residency and fellowship training at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
