New York Methodist Hospital Expands Sports Medicine

The New York Methodist Hospital’s Institute for Orthopedic Medicine and Surgery now includes new procedures for complex injuries to return athletes to play.

Henry Tischler, MD, is the chief of orthopedic surgery for NYM, which also includes shoulder, hip and knee specialists. Craig Capeci, MD, recently joined the team after completing an orthopedic sports medicine fellowship at Lenox Hill Hospital. He is bringing arthroscopic hip surgery to the hospital.
