Clinical Orthopaedic Society Celebrates 100 Years

The Clinical Orthopaedic Society turned 100 this year with a celebration at Chicago’s Palmer House Hilton — where the organization had its first meeting in 1912, according to an AAOS Now report.

The organization was founded by 38 members and became a national organization in 1990. It publishes a biannual newsletter and holds an annual meeting that requires patient presentation as part of any presented paper, according to the report.
