Indiana City Passes Pain Management Clinic Restrictions

New restrictions for Jeffersonville, Ind., on pain management clinics were passed by the City Council, according to a News and Tribune report.

The new measures restrict pain prescription clinics to industrial zones or locating within 1,000 feet of a place of worship, school, public park or the boundary of a residential district, according to the report. There were also restrictions on the space allowed between two pain management clinics.

A moratorium on pain management clinic was also passed and will run through the beginning of next year.
