Medication Shows Improvement for Diabetic Neuropathy Pain

A new study from the University of Calgary’s Hotchkiss Brain Institute shows a new drug therapy aids patients with diabetic neuropathy, according to a Science Blog report.

Researchers examined 60 patients with diabetic neuropathy, either taking the medication nabilone or a placebo. Patients who received nabilone reported improvements in sleeping and anxiety. The medication is approved by the FDA.
