Dr. Metzl, who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of foot and ankle injuries, earned his medical degree from the University of Missouri. He went on to complete an orthopedic surgery residency at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in New York and a foot and ankle surgery fellowship at OrthoCarolina in Charlotte, N.C.
