The Alfred and Norma Lerner Children’s Pavilion, a “hospital within a hospital,” includes medical labs and rehabilitation, and focuses on pediatric orthopedics and rheumatology.
The more than 31,000-square-foot facility houses 10 new private patient rooms, a dedicated nursing station, outpatient facilities, an expanded pediatric imaging suite, orthopedically safe play areas and a specialized, child-friendly pediatric gym.
The pavilion complements the 7,000-square-foot CA Technologies Rehabilitation Center for children, which opened in the same building last year.
