Dr. Tromanhauser co-founded Cortek, a medical device company, and has patents for spinal fusion products. He also founded Intelligent Outcomes, a health service company that creates medical decision support tools.
He is actively involved in spine innovations and surgery. He’s involved in spinal treatment research and participated in ongoing FDA trials of new spine devices.
Dr. Tromanhauser received his medical degree from the Albany Medical College in New York. He completed a general surgery internship and an orthopedic surgery residency at Albany Medical Center Hospital. He completed a spine surgery fellowship at the New England Baptist Hospital in Boston.
He is a member of the North American Spine Society and American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
