Challenges for ASCs With Tracking & Reporting Key Quality Indicators

At the 19th Annual Ambulatory Surgery Centers Conference in Chicago, Jennifer Brown, RN, Endoscopy Nurse Manager at Gastroenterology Associates of Central Virginia, and Tim Meakem, MD, Medical Director of ProVation, will give a presentation titled “The Challenges Facing ASCs to Capture, Track and Report on Key Quality Indicators and Outcomes Data.”

The presentation will focus on potential challenges for surgery centers when they work on tracking and reporting quality indicators for outcomes data. Gastroenterology Associates includes an AAAHC-accredited surgery center and seven gastroenterologists.

Dr. Meakem is an anesthesiologist who has served as CEO of Charlottesville (N.C.) Anesthesia Associates. He has experience as CEO of The Epsilon Group and chief medical officer of Medical Automation Systems.

The conference will take place Oct. 25-27, bringing together surgeons, physician leaders, administrators and ASC business and clinical leaders to discuss how to improve your ASC and its bottom line as well as how to manage challenging clinical, business and financial issues.
