Drs. Russell Betcher, Greg Mathien Operate on UTennessee Coach

Derek Dooley, the head football coach at the University of Tennessee, underwent hip surgery at the Knoxville Orthopedic Clinic at UT Medical Center, according to a CBS Sports report.

Russell Betcher, MD, and Greg Mathien, MD, performed the procedure to repair a fracture in Mr. Dooley’s hip. Mr. Dooley may coach from the press box, but it is unknown how soon he may return to the sideline.
