Osceola County in Florida Defines Pain Management Clinics & Prohibits Cash-Only Payments

Osceola County in Florida has approved local government regulations on pain clinics, defining a pain management clinic and prohibiting cash-only payments, according to an Orlando Sentinel report.

The ordinance also requires pain clinics to provide names of their employees to the county and clinics violating the ordinance could lose their business tax receipt. Clinics must also track and provide monthly prescription reports, according to the report.

The ordinance was passed unanimously.
