United States Bone & Joint Initiative Poses Call to Action for Osteoarthritis

The United States Bone & Joint Initiatives recently released a report showing that the most common form of arthritis and leading cause of disability is osteoarthritis, and proposes a change in the management of OA.

The Chronic Osteoarthritis Management Initiative Working Group proposed a Call to Action for identifying risk factors for osteoarthritis in patients, screening for high risk patients and targeted intervention to avoid or delay joint damage.
