“The Mazor Robotics Renaissance also allows performance of complex open spine procedures such as spinal deformity correction, revision procedures and spinal osteotomies,” he said.
Dr. Francis also said the robotic assistance could leave patients with less pain, smaller incisions, shorter hospitalizations and faster recovery times. Surgeons may benefit from better direct line-of-vision and minimal intraoperative radiation.
