New Jersey Insurer Now Covers Kimberly-Clark’s SInergy Cooled Radiofrequency System

Kimberly-Clark announced its SInergy Cooled Radiofrequency System is now eligible fore reimbursement under the new sacroiliac joint denervation policy adopted by Horizon Health Services, a large health insurer in New Jersey.

The policy provides coverage for SI joint denervation for patients diagnosed with chronic sacroiliac joint pain. The new policy went into effect on July 28.

SInergy is a minimally invasive treatment that targets pain generating nerves in the low back and buttock region responsible for sacroiliac joint pain.
