Knoxville (Tenn.) Orthopaedic Clinic, Vanderbilt Medical Group in Nashville, Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance in Nashville and Campbell Clinic in Memphis will launch a system with BlueCross BlueShield in October that pays providers for the total episode of care delivered during the first 90 days post-surgery.
TriZetto will act as a strategic adviser and technology partner to the initiative. The healthcare software company is also providing BlueCross with a payment bundling software solution to automate the processing of episode-of-care payments.
