Dr. James Andrews to Perform Elbow Surgery on Atlanta Braves Pitcher Brandon Beachy

James Andrews, MD, will perform elbow surgery on Atlanta Braves pitcher Brandon Beachy today, according to an Atlanta Journal-Constitution report.

Dr. Andrews will perform Tommy John surgery to repair Mr. Beachy’s torn elbow ligament. Recovery is expected to take 11-13 months.
