James Andrews, MD, performed elbow surgery on Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Charlie Morton, according to an ESPN report.

Dr. Andrews performed Tommy John surgery to repair Mr. Morton’s ulnar collateral ligament. Recovery is expected to take 12-18 months.
