France-based medtech company SMAIO signed a sales agency agreement with DePuy Synthes to expand access to its customized spine surgery technology in the U.S.
The agreement will give a network of U.S. surgeons access to SMAIO’s planning and realignment solutions and patient-specific implants, according to an Oct. 6 news release.
The collaboration centers on SMAIO’s KEOPS-4ME open platform, which combines data analysis, 3D surgical planning through the KEOPS Balance Analyzer 3D, and patient-specific K-ROD rods.
