Bradenton, Fla.-based Coastal Orthopedics added Vincent Federico, MD, as a spine specialist.
Dr. Federico specializes in ultra-minimally invasive, motion-preserving and same-day spine surgery, according to a news release shared with Becker’s. He treats cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine conditions.
He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago and fellowship training at Rothman Orthopaedic Institute/Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia.
Dr. Federico previously served as an assisting team physician for the Chicago Bulls, the Chicago White Sox, the Chicago Fire and the Philadelphia Phillies. He is seeing patients at Coastal Orthopedics’ East Bradenton and West Bradenton offices.
Coastal Orthopedics was founded in 1973 and has 18 orthopedic specialists, three offices and one ambulatory surgery center.
