Med-tech company Advita Ortho launched Axis, a clinical research initiative designed to connect shoulder surgeons with research on shoulder arthroplasty.
Axis draws on more than 20 years of shoulder data encompassing more than 25,000 patients from 45 clinical sites worldwide, according to a Sept. 21 news release. The data has contributed to more than 250 peer-reviewed publications.
The Axis website includes summaries of published studies, video interviews with study authors, information about clinical sites and details about how data is collected.
