Milledgeville-based Georgia College & State University Athletics named Athens Orthopedic Clinic its exclusive sports medicine partner.
Athens Orthopedic Clinic will provide orthopedic and sports medicine support for more than 250 Bobcat student-athletes, according to a Sept. 17 news release. Services include physician coverage at GCSU athletic events and priority access to imaging and treatment seven days a week.
Student-athletes will also have access to specialists in shoulder, knee, hand, foot and ankle and spine care.
Athens Orthopedic Clinic was founded in 1966 and serves more than 237,000 patients annually.
