Orthopedic Associates of Hartford (Conn.) has added specialists to its physician team.
The orthopedic specialty group has provided care for more than 55 years and operates three ambulatory surgery centers in Rocky Hill, Glastonbury and Hartford, Conn., according to a Sept. 9 news release.
Here are the organization’s new additions:
- Nicholas Bellas, MD, an orthopedic trauma surgeon specializing in trauma and fractures, nonunions/malunions, and fragility fractures. His expertise includes pelvic and acetabular fractures, fragility fractures and periprosthetic fractures using traditional and minimally invasive surgical techniques.
- Colin Burgess, DO, an orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine specialist who treats conditions and injuries affecting the shoulder, elbow, hip, knee and ankle. His specialties include shoulder and knee surgery, rotator cuff repair, ligament reconstruction, meniscus repair and partial and total joint replacement.
- Barrett Torre, MD, an orthopedic surgeon specializing in adult reconstruction with a focus on hip and knee replacement. His expertise includes anterior and posterior hip replacement, total and partial knee replacement, robotic-assisted and minimally invasive joint replacement and complex revision hip and knee replacement.
- Robert Zondervan, DO, PhD, a hand and upper extremity surgeon specializing in conditions affecting the hand, wrist, forearm and elbow. He treats fractures, tendon and ligament injuries, nerve compression syndromes, arthritis, sports injuries and work-related conditions.
