He earned his medical degree from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine and completed an orthopedic internship at Brooke Army Medical Center in Fort Sam Houston, Texas. Previously, Dr. Wahlgren was part of Mayo Clinic Health System and practiced in Menomonie, Wis. He served in the military until 2005.
Dr. Wahlgren has a professional interest in sports medicine, adult reconstructive surgery and extremity care.
